Love poetry, sensual poems, poetry of desertion

by Andrea Mucciolo

Japanese haiku

We two

Let’s stay here
in the marvelous embrace
of our bodies.
Let’s stay here,
still and waiting
for the passing
that will sanctify
our union
in eternity.

Aridity

On the lawn,
just been watered,
I damped my thoughts into yours
I moistened my body in yours
I wet myself with your sexuality,
I soaked my joy into yours.
Then, a drought of your soul came along
and I no longer bathed myself in your passion,
but like wheat in the summer
I dried up in the sun alone,
your heart turned arid
although I watered it.

SOMERSAULTS OF SMILES

I would like to live in a dream,
not that lasts
just an illusory fragment
of the night ,
but that persists
in the hard marble
of an entire life,
climbing over the wall
of the soul’s sunsets.

Somersaults of smiles
knocking down
pangs of the heart.
